Kristen & Dan at Pat’s Barn

We knew from the moment we met Kristen & Dan that their wedding would be amazing. But then we got to know them a little better when Kristen was a bridesmaid in her friend Michelle’s wedding which we photographed, and we became more and more excited as they shared the details of their planning. Their engagement session definitely set a new standard for awesome…click here to view their 40s styled session. We worked with some truly incredible vendors including Flawless by Tina on make-up and A & Company Salon on hair, Glow & Go Mobile Airbrush Tanning, Mike Verinini and his assistant Mark, of Lovecraft Productions on videography, Michelle Dischiavo of Intuition Event Coordination, Surroundings Floral Studio (whose work took my breath away), Nicole’s Catering and the one and only fabulous Jeffrey Scott of Jeffrey Scott Entertainment as DJ. This wedding is surely one we will never forget.

Kristen’s vintage Badgley Micshka gown with it’s beaded sleeves is definitely one of my favorite gowns ever.

This was a PARTY and Jeffrey Scott took it to a whole new level.

Another favorite…so intimate, so romantic, so perfect. Congratulations Kristen and Dan and thank you for sharing your day with us. We LOVE you both.

Ashley & Mike at Pat’s Barn

I really LOVED this wedding. Ashley & Mike had such an amazing, organic vision for their wedding and some truly awesome details. This is the kind of wedding that makes me jump up and down and do a couple mental fist pumps- seriously, I could hardly contain myself. It was that awesome. They started with their hobby as bee keepers (Yes they actually have their own hives!) and then added in some natural textures and fun accents. And we worked with some amazing talent… Gina Comaj Salon was on hand for not one but two beautiful hair styles, the absolutely GORGEOUS floral arrangements were by Us Flower Girls, Paul Malo kept the dance floor full all night long and Dinosaur Bar-B-Que catered the event at the lovely Pat’s Barn.

Sneak Peek: Kristen & Dan at Pat’s Barn

If you follow our blog then you surely remember this couple from their 40s inspired engagement session…that post received more hits than any other single blog in CCP history! Click here for a walk down memory lane! So after that we just knew their wedding was going to be, in a word, KILLER. And of course Kristen & Dan did not disappoint. It was breath-taking from start to finish and I CAN NOT WAIT to share all of the images with you all. It was just so much fun and we worked with such an awesome team of some of our very favorite professionals…starting with Flawless by Tina on make-up and A & Company Salon on hair, Mike Verinini and his assistant Mark, of Lovecraft Productions on videography, Michelle Dischiavo of Intuition Event Coordination, Surroundings Floral Studio (what until you see how they transformed Pat’s Barn!!!!!), Nicole’s Catering and the one and only fabulous Jeffrey Scott of Jeffrey Scott Entertainment as DJ. Alexandra & Ben Get Married!

Loved everything about this wedding. The venue was amazing- Pat’s Barn is definitely one of the coolest non-traditional venues in the Capital District right now. Every time I shoot there I think if I were planning my wedding right now this place would be at the top of my list. Add to that working with one of our favorite Dj’s Vinny Vin from Nonstop Music and one laid back fun couple and it was so much fun! The Casey Connell Fun Booth was in full effect and kept our lovely assistant and my lovely sister, Jill, busy all night long. Thank you Ali & Ben for allowing us to capture your day. It was a pleasure!
