Erin was one of my favorite brides ever!  After the engagement session she took many of our suggestions for relating to the camera and just went with it.  This bride rocked it and she has one pretty fabulous groom too.  They were such a fun and beautiful couple.  I loved Erin’s non traditional gown and everyone has been asking me about the gorgeous collared coat she wore over it, both of which she found at Something Bleu Bridal in Saratoga.  The other element of her wedding day style that really had people talking was her unique pony which was done by stylist Erin Durrant.  The gorgeous make-up for Erin and her girls was done by Tina of Flawless by Tina with her amazing assistant Polina.  We also have to give a special thanks to videographer extraordinaire Mike Verenini of Lovecraft Productions for not only being such a pleasure to work with but also for helping out with our photobooth set up when a piece of our equipment broke.  He was a master of the camera but also the duct tape and we thank him for that!  The event took place at The Crooked Lake House in Averill Park which is just one of the most amazing venues in the area.  The staff is amazing to work with, the food is always excellent and this unique spot has some of the most beautiful light of any venue we have photographed not to mention the beautiful outdoor areas and the view. With all of these awesome elements, it no wonder that this sunny, snowy wedding was one of our favorites.

Erin had these beautiful slippers hand made in the UK.

Cutest doggy costume ever.

Tina working her magic.

gorgeous.

Love these two.

And the coat.  LOVE the coat.

These jerseys were a gift to the groomsmen.  So cool.

Time to get married!

Mr. & Mrs. Napoleone

This room makes me so happy.

Best bridesmaid dresses ever.  How awesome are these?  I’m obsessed.  And this light!  Amazing.

One of my favorites from the whole day.  LOVE.  These ladies were so much fun.

GORGEOUS.

Definitely can’t pick a favorite.  How cute is Joe?

And for this introduction the bridesmaid and groomsmen switched their clothing.  That is awesome.

Thank you Erin & Joe!

Most brides are pretty excited on their wedding day.  Some are too nervous to be expressive about their excitement and some brides are just super low key.  But some brides are so full of joy and so excited to be getting married that it is absolutely contagious and Erin was definitely one of those brides.  You couldn’t help but smile every time you looked at her.  I am pretty sure her groom, JD, felt the same way.  Erin’s wedding was just like her: simple, classic, elegant and beautiful. And it had this sort of classic romantic feel that was emphasized by not only the super awesome Old Daley Inn on Crooked Lake but also by JDs white dinner jacket and black bow tie. Love the bow tie fellas and I am so glad its back.  Ladies love a man who can tie his own bow tie : )  And the fun continued when this crowd took to the dance floor for one serious party.  I think the building was shaking it was so crazy!  Just an absolutely perfect night with a perfect couple.

Getting a little help from matron of honor and JDs sister.

I love this unexpected color combination.  Hydrangeas are always awesome.

These girls were rockin those dresses.  Love relaxed bridesmaids ready to have some fun!

simple. classic. elegant and beautiful right?  The dress was from Deanna’s Bridal Boutique in West Sand Lake and it was awesome.  Absolute perfection.

Speechless on this one.  Erin is gorgeous.

JD got a little help with the suspenders before heading up the aisle.

Erin arrives and check out that smile!  That is a bride who is in the moment and enjoying every second of it.

And a kiss to make it official.

The new Dr. & Mrs. Filippone!

This venue is just gorgeous.  Lake views right outside and the main ballroom looks like this!  Check out that giant dance floor.

There is just something special about a cupcake…and when its a cupcake from Make Me A Cake…Next Door in Delmar its even better!

They might look too good to eat but they are definitely too good not to eat!

Back outside for some portraits on the lake.

I love this one.  Its always a good sign when a couple laughs a lot together!

Love the simplicity of this one.

Its always good to get a little last minute practice for the first dance!

LOVE.  REALLY LOVE.

My two favorites from the day.  These images capture that timeless feel their wedding had. Like we could have been celebrating in any decade.  It was a forever kind of look that I loved!

SO excited.

Wedding Rule #2, after having fun on your wedding day, is spending the night on the dance floor!  Its your wedding day so Dance.  If you want your guests to have fun and dance you need to set a good example.  I don’t think these two ever left the dance floor all night long.

Congratulations Erin & John David and thank you for allowing us to share such an exceptional day with you!  It was unforgettable : )
