Heather & Max’s wedding was one of the early CCP weddings.  We go way back!  We photographed their engagement session, their wedding, their belly session, newborn session, 6 month and 1 year sessions with their first son James and were so honored that they asked us to capture the next milestone, their second son Gavin.  Two more handsome boys you could not find.  There is no greater honor than documenting all the most important moments in the life of a family so thank you Heather & Max.  We can’t wait to see you all again soon : )

brotherly LOVE.

thank you.

We were looking forward to Kim & Tim’s wedding for months.  After Kim’s sister Lori was married in May we knew how much fun their family was and what a pleasure they would be to work with.  After their engagement session, with their super cute dogs there was no doubt this would be a beautiful wedding for two beautiful people.  Kim also used Fleurtacious Designs who, as always, did an impeccable job with gorgeous deep pinks and purples.  One of our favorite Djs, Fernando from Conway Entertainment, was on hand to keep the dance floor full.  And of course, Saratoga National was perfection from the grounds to the staff to the ballroom, which looked unbelievable.  And Kim had some killer shoes!

I had to include Kim’s personalized hanger because when she traveled to the hotel she realized she had forgotten it at home and Tim being the best husband-to-be ever drove an hour home and an hour back so Kim could have her hanger.  How sweet is that?

This is always one of my favorite parts.  The anticipation gets me every time and Kim’s dress was so dramatic.

And they did a first look which we LOVE.  Here Kim is getting some last minute help from the amazing staff at Saratoga National.

Love this one.  Without this image, would Kim have remembered how she felt at that exact moment?  The tears that were shed as she walked up to her soon to be husband?

Gorgeous couple.

Kim and Tim are so striking together and so natural.

And then it was time to go get married.

And then back outside for a few in that beautiful golden light.

Couldn’t resist a few more of Kim and her bouquet.

This room looked as beautiful as I have ever seen it.

and they loved happily ever after of course!

I have known Alex since we were really young…we are cousins-in-law if there is such a thing : ) and she and my younger sister used to play together quite a bit.  Well now she is all grown up and getting married and I finally got to meet her fiance Ben, who by the way, is so natural and so great in front of the camera.  Alex & Ben are both so photogenic and so sweet together. And they are so excited for their February wedding. It was so much fun to hear all the details they had planned.  We went to so many of my favorite spots including one new one, one of my favorite places on the planet, the Troy Public Library.  I spent so many hours there as a kid pouring over books and walking home with stacks taller than me.  I have always wanted to shoot there.  It is such a cool place.  Nothing gets me more excited than a library…I know I am a complete dork.  So thank you Alex & Ben for spending the morning in Troy with me.  Your wedding is going to unbelievable!

I am a little obsessed with this alley.  You can see why right?

Alex has a love of red doors but this blue one is pretty darn cool.

LOVE. LOVE. LOVE.

From the moment that Erin & Pete hired us we knew this wedding was going to be fun.  When we photographed Erin’s sister Meg’s wedding in June we realized just how much fun these McLoughlin girls are.  We love ourselves some Troy girls who know how to have a good time : )  Erin was an absolutely stunning bride in one of my favorite dresses and veils of the season. This couple wanted to keep the formalities to a minimum and the party at a maximum so they cut out the big bridal party and the wedding cake in favor of one attendant each and an ice cream sundae bar.  They ditched the usual DJ and instead had The Refrigerators.  And did I mention they also invited 300 of their closest family and friends?  The Casey Connell Fun Booth also made an appearance and as you’ll see from the images below there was a whole lot of fun to go around!  Thank you Erin & Pete (an extra thank you to Pete who does not enjoy having his picture taken but was a real trooper for his new wife)!

There is something about the shape of a single shoe that always draws me in.

Love these two.  Erin has some killer eyes and how amazing is that veil.  I LOVE IT!

This is one of my favorites from the whole day.  One last check before heading out.

and the dress?  seriously. its perfection.

Felthousen’s was behind this absolutely huge and beautiful bouquet.

another favorite.  LOVE.

And off to the Crooked Lake we go.  This is such a beautiful venue inside and out.

Mr. & Mrs. Ryan

sometimes its the simplicity of black and white that conveys happiness best.

Happy couples in beautiful places.  Does it get any better?

These brothers are 4 of CCP’s favorite subjects.  We have been photographing them for years and I’m sure they could not be any cuter if they tried.

Another beautiful CCP family we will be seeing soon for a fall session : )

This room gets some of the best light of any wedding venue in the area.

I’m loving this one too.  Doesn’t every bride want her groom to smile at her like on her wedding day?

Here is where things start to get a little crazy.

And if you didn’t get the memo Erin is kind of a rock star on the dance floor.

The McLoughlin girls really do take it to another level.

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this one 9 times over.  We had 9 Casey Connell brides in one room so we had to get them together.

Its such a privledge to be able to do what we do and we are so grateful to all these ladies.

Thank you Megan, Maryjane, Andrea, Meg, Erin, Katie, Stacey, Rebecca & Lauren!

and a happy ending with the happy couple.

Kerri & Steve have been together since high school so their wedding day was a celebration of a relationship that has already proved its staying power over and over.  Both of their families were so excited to make it official and they had an absolutely perfect day to do it.  The wedding had a vintage travel inspiration that carried through in some very unique details and they had the best candy bar which I have ever seen courtesy of Flowers by Pesha who also provided the gorgeous flowers.  We had a great time working with LaRose Media on videography once again and Glen Sanders was as fabulous as always.

I always love to see these personalized hangers when we walk into a room.  A beautiful dress deserves a beautiful hanger.

And a glass of wine always done wonders for the nerves : )

Kerri really wanted to get a shot with her baby and how amazing are these invitations?

I LOVE short dresses and the color of these is so fresh and light.

Kerri is so sweet it took all of her bridesmaids to get her sassy side out!

That is a beautiful bride.

Kerri & Steve wrote their own personal vows and I don’t think there was a dry eye in the house.

The fire pit and patio at Glen Sanders are so fun and the perfect spot to have a quick drink before the reception.

LOVE.

The black and white kill me.  I love how classic and gorgeous Kerri & Steve look.

This spot never gets old.  I love it.

The tickets on the escort table and the vintage postcards for guests to write on rather than a guestbook were awesome.

The antique suitcase is pretty cool too which Kerri lined with pictures of their parents and grandparents.

Definitely one of my favorites.  Hello rim light : )

And they followed the rules…always dance at your wedding!

and keep dancing.

Love me a good candy bar and this one was the best complete with antique candy machines.  LOVE it and love this couple.

We hope Hawaii was amazing and best wishes on a very sweet lifetime together!
