11 North Pearl

Jennifer & Brian were married at the beautiful 11 N. Pearl in Albany by candlelight.  This venue is just breathtaking and filled with candles and two people in love…it just doesn’t get any better!  We had the pleasure of working with the amazing Philip Coltart of Coltart Studios on videography and Brian from Piano Man who had a dancing crowd on his hands.  Jennifer’s dress was so gorgeous and the location of the first look is one of my favorites hands down.

Jennifer going over everything she needs to bring with her.

and then it’s time to go.  Love these two portraits that were shot quickly as left the hotel room.

Is there anything better than anticipation?

They just don’t make building like this anywhere…so much romance.

This might just be my favorite.

windy days… a photographer’s dream and a bride’s nightmare.  Jennifer was so relaxed and happy.  When a huge gust came along she just went with it.

and speaking of breathtaking locations…

This was such a great idea which I had never seen before and that is saying a lot…the guests all signed wine bottles that would be opened on Jennifer’s & Brian’s 1, 5, 10 and 20 year anniversaries.  And I LOVE that they went with the big bottles…a couple after my heart.

Oh what a night!

This couple was so sweet and fun to work with.  They decided on a first look so we headed over to the Education Building with Philip Coltart on video.  The wind was blowing the leaves around and the sun was shining.  It was a perfect day for a wedding!  They were married by candlelight inside 11 North Pearl before dancing the night away to music played by Brian of Piano Man.  We just LOVED Jennifer’s dress and veil.  Check it out!

Have fun in Mexico!

Erin & Patrick were our last wedding of the season and it was certainly a very happy ending.  We had been looking forward to the big day ever since we did their e-session on a very cool golf course.  You can check it out here. Patrick is also the winner of our best engagement story EVER award.  It involved a movie theater, a gospel choir, a surprise engagement party and some carefully planted photography and videography. We are fairly certain it can never be topped.  It is the stuff legends are made of. Erin is simply GORGEOUS so add to that the amazing talents of Tina from Flawless by Tina and Erin was breath-taking. Christine Wheat was on hand to keep the day moving and its always awesome to have her skills. No one can plan and coordinate like Christine Wheat.  She is a genius.  Erin had every detail perfect.  Her dress was amazing, her hair, her shoes, her jewelry.  She was perfection.  The couple did a first look outside in December.  Yes it was cold but Erin is another champ who never complained and definitely deserves the status of a non-weather wimp!  After braving the cold they then proceeded to 11 North Pearl were they were married in a beautiful candlelit ceremony before dancing the night away to one of the craziest and most fun bands we have ever seen.  Nuts in a Blender is a seriously good time so if you are looking for a wedding band that is not your average wedding band definitely check them out.  You won’t be disappointed.  A very Merry Christmas to Erin, Patrick and Kate!

Tina working her magic.

A rare moment of seriousness for Erin.  She was all smiles all day but right here you see her taking it all in and getting ready for the big moment!

Love the tree in the back.

Now that is a beautiful bride.

One of my favorites from the first look.

The new family:  Erin, Patrick and Kate.

A Daddy/Daughter dance.

This was such a fun lively exciting wedding and the perfect ending to the best season ever!
