Erin was one of my favorite brides ever!  After the engagement session she took many of our suggestions for relating to the camera and just went with it.  This bride rocked it and she has one pretty fabulous groom too.  They were such a fun and beautiful couple.  I loved Erin’s non traditional gown and everyone has been asking me about the gorgeous collared coat she wore over it, both of which she found at Something Bleu Bridal in Saratoga.  The other element of her wedding day style that really had people talking was her unique pony which was done by stylist Erin Durrant.  The gorgeous make-up for Erin and her girls was done by Tina of Flawless by Tina with her amazing assistant Polina.  We also have to give a special thanks to videographer extraordinaire Mike Verenini of Lovecraft Productions for not only being such a pleasure to work with but also for helping out with our photobooth set up when a piece of our equipment broke.  He was a master of the camera but also the duct tape and we thank him for that!  The event took place at The Crooked Lake House in Averill Park which is just one of the most amazing venues in the area.  The staff is amazing to work with, the food is always excellent and this unique spot has some of the most beautiful light of any venue we have photographed not to mention the beautiful outdoor areas and the view. With all of these awesome elements, it no wonder that this sunny, snowy wedding was one of our favorites.

Erin had these beautiful slippers hand made in the UK.

Cutest doggy costume ever.

Tina working her magic.

gorgeous.

Love these two.

And the coat.  LOVE the coat.

These jerseys were a gift to the groomsmen.  So cool.

Time to get married!

Mr. & Mrs. Napoleone

This room makes me so happy.

Best bridesmaid dresses ever.  How awesome are these?  I’m obsessed.  And this light!  Amazing.

One of my favorites from the whole day.  LOVE.  These ladies were so much fun.

GORGEOUS.

LOVE.

Definitely can’t pick a favorite.  How cute is Joe?

And for this introduction the bridesmaid and groomsmen switched their clothing.  That is awesome.

Thank you Erin & Joe!

Loved everything about this wedding.  The venue was amazing- Pat’s Barn is definitely one of the coolest non-traditional venues in the Capital District right now.  Every time I shoot there I think if I were planning my wedding right now this place would be at the top of my list.  Add to that working with one of our favorite Dj’s Vinny Vin from Nonstop Music and one laid back fun couple and it was so much fun!  The Casey Connell Fun Booth was in full effect and kept our lovely assistant and my lovely sister, Jill, busy all night long.  Thank you Ali & Ben for allowing us to capture your day.  It was a pleasure!

How sweet is this flower girl?

A school bus is one sweet ride.

Ali looks spectacular.  Killer dress right?

I love these shots of the bride with her Mom.  You can tell they have a very special relationship.

Yes, you counted right. 10! bridesmaids and two flowergirls!

and every one of them was as beautiful as the next.

These suits rock.  I love love love them.

A beautiful bride requires a handsome groom and Ben definitely did not disappoint.

LOVE.  I’m always a sucker for the first look.

Two of my favorites.  That soft winter light is just so much fun to shoot.

This series makes me so happy.

And then it was time to go get married!

The ceremony was so beautiful and so intimate.

Vinny Vin always takes care of his brides…amd his bridesmaids and that dance floor was packed night long.

Perfect ending to a perfect night.

We instantly loved this couple from the moment we first met them and have been so excited for their wedding!  We were also thrilled to work at one of our very favorite venues, The Crooked Lake House and with the always amazing Tina & Polina of Flawless by Tina.  And we had the pleasure of working for the first time with Mike Verenini of Lovecraft Productions on videography. Erin looked so incredibly beautiful and Joe so handsome on a perfect warm, sunny and snowy day.  We just had a blast with them!

Perfection.

We first met Amie & Eric as they were planning their fall wedding at Hunter Mountain.  We loved them immediately and couldn’t wait to work with them.  Fast forward several months and we get an e-mail saying they were rethinking their original wedding plan and were toying with the idea of a destination wedding in one of their favorite places, the Caribbean island of Antigua.  We were so bummed because we were so excited to capture their wedding but then they asked if we might be interested in coming.  Antigua?  In January?  With Amie & Eric?  Yes, please.  So we found ourselves on a white sand beach with the music of a steel drum as turquoise waves washed ashore. Amie was the most relaxed bride you have ever seen. Her friends had tagged along on a make-up lesson back home with Tina of Flawless by Tina (which I really recommend to destination brides who may not be comfortable working with a make-up artist at their destination) and wow did they learn fast.  They did an amazing job.  Amie went in the water.  Yippee!  and Eric was up for anything too.  The resort they chose, The Verandah Resort & Spa, was just breath-taking. It was perfection in every way.

One of my favorite dress shots ever.

Love.

How about those blue eyes?

The view from Amie & Eric’s suite.  Sigh.

I LOVE this one too.  That is a relaxed, happy bride.

Eric and Amie met half way down the aisle.  So sweet.

I think you could smell these flowers from anywhere on the island.  They were just beautiful.

At first I was incredibly irritated by the presence of this boat but in the end I found a way to work it and I love this image.

Have I mentioned how much fun we had… and the light?  Oh the light!

This is something I have always wanted to do but it is a rare bride who will sit in some sandy water…so worth it though.

Two of my absolute favorites.

Love. Love. LOVE.

Beautiful.

LOVE a million times over.

What an awesome day we had with Sarah & Bob.  Working with so many amazing professionals and such an incredible couple on a chilly sunny day we just couldn’t go wrong.  I love the blue dressees Sarah chose for her bridesmaids and her dress from Kleinfeld’s was simple elegance personified.  The hair and make-up courtesy of Make Me Fabulous and the bright fall flowers from The Flower Girl were so fun to photograph.  Top it all off at Saratoga National with Soul Session!  Sarah and Bob were just as sweet as can be and totally trusted us to capture their big day.

Love the bride hanger and this dress is so timeless and just gorgeous…and so tiny.

all hands on deck.

Lots of buttons but Sarah was so happy and not stressed out through the whole process.

some finishing touches by Mom

And that is a beautiful bride!

time for a first look : )

Bob might be just a tiny bit nervous.

And Sarah is so excited.  Love this moment.

Sisters.

That early winter light is just plain awesome.

love that sky.

One of my favorites from the day.

You might remember this from the sneak peek… the light, the sky and pure happiness.

I am obsessed with these two little men and this sign.  Its such a cute alternative to the ring pillows.

and its reversible!!

The Flower Girl did such a beautiful job with these jewel tones.

How bittersweet is the look on Sarah’s Dad’s face?

the end and yet just the beginning…
