We are so lucky to get to work with so many amazing professionals every week and we always talk about how fun it would be to get together for a style shoot without any of the wedding day pressure. Many of our favorites are awesome women who also own their own businesses and are such talented artists. So we all met up at a beautiful creek side private home on a very rainy and overcast afternoon to talk wedding and play in the water. The incredibly talented videographer Cheryl Lighthouse from CASL Productions was on hand to document the shoot and has graciously shared her video with us. Some of our other favorite ladies who made their way into the woods are: Hair Stylist Jenah from Kylie & Company , Make-up Artist Tina from Flawless by Tina, Dress Designer Aimee from Style for Grace, Cake Designer Melissa from Make Me A Cake…Next Door and Lauren from The Flower Girl. We also came across the most amazing custom stationary company, uluckygirl, which is also women owned YAY! and I can not recommend them highly enough. You will see some of their amazing products below and in the video. Their work is just beautiful and so unique. I especially love the ISpy cards. So thank you to all the super talented women who participated. It really was so much fun to be surrounded by so much talent and hope to see you all again soon…when its not raining ; )
Along the Creek: A Style Shoot from Cheryl Lighthall on Vimeo.
We went with an orange and robin’s egg blue color scheme and lots of vintage finds. We also carried a bit of a bird theme throughout.
I am in love with these ISpy cards by uluckygirl!
Love these colors together and I love books. They are such an underused source of inspiration and decor.
How perfect is this cake from Make Me A Cake…Next Door? I love it and cupcakes too.
You all know I LOVE tattoos. Although I would never ever have the commitment my girl Erica displays I admire her courage!
and then a quick change into a custom ostrich feather creation…
